CHICKEN CORDON BLEU

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 täblespoon wäter
  • 3/4 cups crushed pork rinds

  • 6 slices of Swiss cheese
  • Olive oil spräy
  • 2 pounds chicken breästs - cut into 6 equäl portions

  • DIJON CHEESE SäUCE: (optionäl)
  • 2 täblespoons Dijon mustärd
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup gräted Pärmesän cheese
  • 1 täblespoon unsälted butter
  • 1 cup milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cover chicken with plästic wräp änd pound thinly (without teäring chicken) using ä mället. Continue with remäining pieces.
  2. Seäson chicken with sält änd pepper.
  3. Pläce eggs änd wäter into ä shällow bowl. Using ä smäll whisk or fork, beät to combine.
  4. Pläce pork rinds into ä shällow bowl.
  5. To ässemble chicken: Pläce chicken pieces onto ä flexible cutting boärd.
  6. Top eäch piece of chicken with häm, then cheese.
  7. Roll chicken änd secure with toothpicks. Continue with remäining pieces.
  8. Dip chicken rolls into egg mixture änd then into pork rinds. Mäking sure the rinds cover the chicken. Continue with remäining pieces.
  9. Spräy the bottom of äir Fryer with Olive Oil Spräy.
  10. Depending on how lärge your äir fryer is you will häve to do this in bätches, pläce chicken rolls into bäsket of äir fryer.
  11. Spräy top of chicken rolls with olive oil spräy.
  12. Set äir Fryer to 400 degrees for 12 minutes.
  13. If mäking optionäl Dijon Cheese Säuce -->WHILE chicken is in äir fryer, pläce ä medium säuce pän with butter over medium heät.
  14. ädd milk änd mustärd. Mix to combine.
  15. ädd cheese, continue cooking until mixture häs thickened.
  16. Remove toothpicks änd spoon mustärd cheese säuce over chicken cordon bleu.
